A Dialogue Sermon on Speaking to Each Other - Opening our Eyes, Ears and Hearts

posted May 26, 2016, 7:39 AM by Delia McGee

At its regular Friday evening service on June 3rd, Temple Sholom will present a dialogue sermon - a conversation between Rabbi Joel Abraham and Judge Leland McGee. The two have been engaged in dialogue together for almost a decade and hope to bring what they have learned from each other to a wider audience, in order to encourage conversations that bring about understanding and change between people of different background, religion, race, and ethnicity. All we ask is that you bring open ears and an open heart. The service begins promptly at 7:30pm and the temple is located at 1925 Lake Avenue in Scotch Plains. For those who have never attended a Jewish worship service before, all are welcome at Temple Sholom. The level of dress will be business casual and above.

We hope to see you there!
