Untold Stories of the Civil Rights Era




Join us as Dr. Rev Newell shares his stories and involvement with the grass roots civil rights organizations of the 1960s, including the March on Washington in 1963 and his efforts in Mississippi in 1964. He has also worked with Stokely Carmichael and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Reverend Newell has led many congregations during his pastoral career, working with a broad range of religious traditions.
