The Price of Silence - History of Slavery in New jersey.

SJM is partnering with the Scotch Plains School system to present this 3 part PBS film series The Price of Silence to our community.  These films are about the lesser known history of slavery in NJ and how this history created the racial disparities we see today. 

There will be a panel discussion following the screening between the filmmaker, Ridgeley Hutchinson, and key people featured in the film ((Linda Caldwell Epps, Kristal Langford, and Danielia Cotton)
